Ms. Chandy Eng is the Executive Director of Gender and Development for Cambodia (GADC), a prominent non-governmental organization focused on advancing gender-sensitive policies, advocating for national legal reforms, and implementing programs that promote gender equality. She holds a dual degree in Law and ELBBL from the Royal University of Law & Economics and is a graduate of the Harpswell Foundation. Chandy completed her Fellowship in Gender and Sociology at Bowdoin College, Maine, USA, and earned a Master’s degree in International Human Rights from Mahidol University, Thailand. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science. With over 10 years of experience in the gender equality movement, Chandy is a dedicated feminist committed to advancing gender justice. Her professional interests include feminist leadership, women’s empowerment, and the intersectionality of gender in law and society. She is a strong advocate for policy reform and sustainable development aimed at addressing gender inequalities across all sectors.
